Quotations are hereby invited from licensed CNF and Shipping  agencies for carriage, clearance and transport of 100 ( One hundred ) containers of Fresh Dates (Khajoor) from Dubai, UAE to Dhaka, Bangladesh, immediately. Dates, in PP bags,  must be transported in 20 ft heavy duty containers aboard any scheduled carrier.

All offers must quote separately for following jobs:

1) Freight Cost - Carriage by 20 ft heavy duty containers from Dubai to Chittagong.
2) CNF cost - Custom Clearing at Chittagong.
3) Local Transport cost -  Carriage from Chittagong to Dhaka by road.

Please make offers complete and inclusive of all expenses including commissions and miscellaneous. Indicate ‘Receiptable’ amounts which will be paid separately. For carriage from Chittagong to Dhaka, please quote separately for open truck and for covered vans.

Quotations for all 3 jobs together is not mandatory, you may quote for one or more items only.

At least 10 containers (2 Bs/L) must be cleared and delivered to Dhaka each day. Only licensed CNF and Shipping companies may apply. Container owners’ confirmation will be required. Each container to load at least 24 MT Dates. Specify earliest date by when containers can be placed at Dubai for loading (partial shipment will be allowed). Please mention previous experience of clearing similar items, if any.

Ariana Corporation reserves the right to decide and select the best offer. Any and all applications may be rejected without showing any reason whatsoever. Contract may be awarded to more than one company for the jobs or each individual job may also be split (minimum10 containers each) as deemed suitable by Ariana Corporation.  Selected companies will be invited to sign contract. Performance Guarantee will be required for timely completion of the work.

Any persuasions will disqualify the offer.

SOME QUESTIONS FROM READERS :

1. Shipment Period:  We need to be confirmed about the shipment period as we have to arrange empty containers at loading port during that particular time.

2. Weight /Bag :  Please advise us the Gross weight of each P. P. Bag to negotiate with  transport company as well as loading people.

3. Delivery Point : Please advise us the details address of delivery point in Dhaka City. Please also confirm us whether we need to quote the unloading charges at delivery point or it would be done by your own arrangement.

4. L/C Terms : Please confirm us your L/C terms as it is C&F or FOB ?

5. Equipment Status : We need to be confirmed once again whether you need 20' Heavy Duty Dry container or Reefer container.

6. In newspaper you have mentioned 200 containers but in the web you say 100 containers. which is correct.

OUR REPLY / CLARIFICATIONS :

1. Goods are read in Dubai warehouse. We would like to start loading as soon as possible. Loading and CNF in Dubai will be paid by supplier; however, you are welcome to quote as an OPTION and we will be happy to recommend you to suppliers.

2. Each bag weighs between 30-40 Kgs. We must load at least 24 MT in each container since Customs will charge tax for 24 MT regardless of what actual weight is.

3. Delivery point will be Tejgaon Industrial Area. Unloading will be done by Warehouse/ Cold store staff.

4. Freight will be pre-paid in Dubai.

5. Need Heavy Duty DRY container. Must load minimum 24 MT in each container.

6. Each consignment is 100 containers. One will follow the other. Please quote for 100 each.
